Use of cookies

The responsible entity uses so-called "cookies" to tailor and optimize the customer's online experience and online time individually. A cookie is a text file that is either temporarily stored in the computer's memory ("session cookie") or saved on the hard drive ("persistent" cookie). For example, cookies contain information about the user's previous accesses to the corresponding server or information about which offers have been accessed before. Cookies are not used to execute programs or load viruses onto your computer. The main purpose of cookies is rather to provide a specifically tailored offer to the customer and to make the use of the service as convenient as possible.

The responsible entity uses session cookies as well as persistent cookies.

Session cookies
The responsible entity predominantly uses "session cookies," which are not stored on the customer's hard drive and are deleted when the browser is closed. Session cookies are used for login authentication and load balancing purposes, where they help distribute system load.

Persistent cookies
Furthermore, the responsible entity uses "persistent cookies" to store the personal usage preferences that a customer enters when using the services of the responsible entity. This enables personalization and improvement of the service. Persistent cookies ensure that the customer's personal settings are retained when they revisit the responsible entity's website. In addition, the service providers commissioned by the responsible entity to analyze user behavior use persistent cookies to recognize returning users. These services store the data transmitted by the cookie exclusively in an anonymous manner. No correlation with the customer's IP address is retained.

Avoidance of Cookies
Visitors have the option to reject the placement of cookies at any time. This is typically done by selecting the corresponding option in the browser settings or by using additional programs. More details can be found in the help function of the browser being used by the customer. If the customer decides to disable cookies, this may reduce the service's functionality and have a negative impact on the experience when using the responsible entity's services.

Use of Analytical Programs

The responsible entity conducts analyses of its customers' behavior within the scope of using its service, or has these analyses conducted. For this purpose, anonymized or pseudonymized usage profiles are created. The creation of usage profiles is carried out solely for the purpose of continuously improving the service provided by the responsible entity.

As part of web analysis, the responsible entity also uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. The responsible entity utilizes Google Analytics with the "_anonymizeIp()" extension, which shortens IP addresses to prevent direct personal identification. Data collection and storage in this context can be objected to at any time with effect for the future.

Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Google will never associate your IP address with other data from Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. Use of Facebook Social Plugins

The responsible entity uses Social Plugins ('Plugins') from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Facebook to the customer's browser and integrated into the website.

Through the integration of the plugins, Facebook receives the information that the customer has accessed the respective page of the responsible entity's website. If the customer is logged into Facebook, Facebook can associate the visit with the customer's Facebook account. When the customer interacts with the plugins, such as pressing the 'Like' button or leaving a comment, the corresponding information is directly transmitted from the customer's browser to Facebook and stored there. The purpose and scope of data collection, as well as the further processing and use of data by Facebook, along with the customer's rights and privacy protection settings, are detailed in Facebook's privacy policy.

If the customer does not want Facebook to collect data in the manner described above, the customer must log out from their Facebook account before visiting the responsible entity's website.

By using Twitter and the "Re-Tweet" function, the web pages you visit are linked to your Twitter account and shared with other users. Data is also transmitted to Twitter in this process.

We would like to point out that as the provider of these pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Twitter. For more information, please refer to Twitter's privacy policy at:

www.twitter.com/privacy

You can change your privacy settings on Twitter in your account settings under www.twitter.com/account/settings  ändern.

Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has accessed the respective page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged in to Instagram. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your browser directly to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged into Instagram, Instagram can directly associate your visit to our website with your Instagram account. When you interact with the plugins, such as pressing the "Instagram" button, this information is also directly transmitted to an Instagram server and stored there.
